A.R.T.S. SPINT-Biological Control of Red Spider Mite for Weed,Cannabis,Marijuana plants

A.R.T.S. SPINT

A professional biological spray from the USA against RED SPIDER MITE (Tetranychus urticae) their eggs and larvae. It contains cottonseed oil that dissolves the web.Comes with extra spreading agent and growth promoter.

The agent SPINT against red spider mite is absorbed by the leaves and then has a translaminar effect. The red spiders will ingest the active ingredients when they suck and feed on the leaves. The product also has a contact effect if it comes into good contact with the pests.

Within a few hours after ingestion the red spider mite will become inactive and incapable of consuming food. The females’ fertility will be disrupted. These effects ultimately lead to death. This agent also kills all eggs and larvae.

You will be able to assess the results of a treatment after 3-7 days by inspecting the nests (cobwebs) around the leaf tips, which should have decreased by then. Counting dead insects is less informative.

The additive eugenol forms holes in the cobwebs, which eventually dissolve.

You may harvest your crops immediately after using this agent.

What is Red spider mite (Tetranychus urticae)?

Red spider mite (Tetranychus urticae) is extremely small, barely visible with the naked eye as reddish or greenish spots on leaves and stems; the adults measure about 0.5 mm. The red spider mite, which can be seen in greenhouses and tropical and temperate zones spinning a fine web on and under leaves. Mites inhabit the underside of the leaf and are not readily apparent. As day lengths reduce in the autumn, they become deep red in colour. They are not insects, but arachnids, the same family as spiders.

The first signs are a general 'sick' look of your plant, with some mottling of the upper leaf surface. This generally happens before the webs or mites are noticed. Plants just stop growing, foliage takes on a  discolored look pale and sometimes bronze. It may be necessary to view with magnifying glass to confirm the presence of Red Spider Mite.
